Mandate

Osage Capital is the principal investment arm of Osage Group. The mandate is venture-led: identify founders building durable companies in domains we understand, write meaningful first checks, and follow on through the company’s life. We also hold a smaller book of public-equity compounders and selected real assets — but the centre of gravity is private, primary-issuance venture investing.

What we underwrite

• Sovereign infrastructure. Identity, settlement, payments, secure compute, and the picks-and-shovels around them. Adjacent to Osage Tech and the broader Hanzo / Lux platform.
• Indigenous & tribal economy. Companies serving tribal nations and Indigenous communities — energy, healthcare, financial services, telecommunications — on terms that respect sovereignty.
• Aerospace & defense-adjacent. Continuing the discipline of Maj. Gen. Tinker. Long-range systems, autonomy, and the supplier base around them.
• Real assets. Land, mineral interests where appropriate, agriculture via Osage Farm, and physical reserves via Osage Gold.
• Cultural infrastructure. Media, publishing, and education that enlarges the public record — not the public temper.

How we work with founders

• Lead or co-lead. We are willing to do the work to lead a round when the company is in our wheelhouse.
• Concentration. Few positions per fund, deeply understood. We do not spray.
• Operating support. Where we hold meaningful stakes, we serve on boards and we contribute — introductions, recruiting, infrastructure on Osage Cloud, identity on Osage ID, settlement on Osage Network, regulatory cover via Osage Legal.
• Patience as a feature. Decade-plus horizon by default. We are not the right partner if you need an exit on a quarterly cadence.

Stage

Primary focus is Seed through Series B. Reserves for follow-on are committed at the time of the initial investment. We do not do bridge-to-nowhere financings. Check sizes and concentration are discussed under NDA with founders we engage.

What we will not do

Anonymous-token issuance. Companies whose principal moat is regulatory arbitrage. Investments we would not hold ourselves. Companies we cannot name in public. Anything our compliance committee or general counsel will not put a name to.
